There are risk management benefits to legal practitioners being members of local law associations and local informal groups.
Sharing knowledge and experience, providing and receiving help and guidance from likeminded people are some of the benefits. This kind of support is an important risk management tool especially for practitioners in sole or small practices.
LPLC encourages practitioners to join a local association or group or set up one themselves.
